Saddam Hussein

During a photo shoot in early 2003, a well respected photographer, Kevyn Major Howard, noticed some similarities in the pictures that he had just taken of James Evans, a soap opera actor, with the Iraq dictator Saddam Hussein. Kevyn immediately pulled up photos of the real Saddam Hussein and noticed that James and Saddam had very common features. Just for fun, a make-up artist made James up to look like the real Saddam Hussein, and took a few pictures of James as Saddam Hussein.

Once the picture of James Evans as Saddam Hussein was circulated with the casting ranks of Hollywood, James immediately started appearing in films, television, documentaries and print as Saddam Hussein, both within the United States and internationally. James is considered the top Saddam Hussein impersonator because of his looks, knowledge of the Arabic language, his thorough study of Saddam's behaviors and his strong film and television background. James is one of the few, if not only, impersonators who despises the very character that he portrays, which gives him the ability to portray Saddam Hussein in an accurate manner.
