Liz Taylor

As an insomniac child, Marlon Braccia, stayed up watching the late, late show, learning all the old stars' filmographies. Marlon watched her mother, who'd always bore a striking resemblance to Elizabeth Taylor, apply the identical makeup to Liz's, further accentuating the likeness. Soon Marlon's teenage years brought remarks of resemblance to Ms. Taylor her own way. Always curious if it was truly remarkable resemblance, Marlon went to see Elizabeth Taylor at the launch of White Diamonds perfume in Macy's in NY in a vintage in 1950's dress her mother passed down. Once face to face Ms. Taylor's eyes widened in surprise at Marlon's apparent resemblance to her. It was true, and the local NBC News aired an interview with Marlon that evening to highlighting it!

In 1994 Marlon entered a celebrity look alike contest at an agent's suggestion. As a very late entry she was immediately ushered to the finals, but Jackie O took the prize that year. Since then Marlon has been featured as Ms. Taylor in a 5 page spread for M Magazine, and in Depeche Mode, France's #1 fashion magazine and other magazines. She had a cameo appearance in the Academy Award winning film, Gods and Monsters. On television Marlon portrayed Ms. Taylor in E! Channels biography "True Hollywood Stories" on Geraldo. Marlon's website hosts a gallery section devoted solely to her appearances as Elizabeth Taylor, which may be viewed at: http://askyogimarlon.com/gallery/LizTaylor/
